Because of COVID-19 there are rules that you need to follow when you travel. Turkey has its own rules. We are past the stage of ‘hand washing’ and ‘social distancing’ as the vaccination level in Turkey is 93 % of the population who received the first doze and 85,50 % of the population who received the second doze as of May 31st 2022. Nearly 28 million of Turkish people have already received the third doze.
As of March 1st 2022 Turkey has dropped the main restrictions on COVID-19: mandatory face masks in public places and Covid passports
All arrivals (aged 12 and over) into Turkey must have proof of one of the following:
A full course of COVID-19 vaccinations (completed at least 14 days prior to arrival in Turkey)
recent recovery from COVID-19
a negative PCR test (less than 72 hours of arrival)
a rapid antigen test (less than 48 hours of arrival).
Children under twelve are not required to submit testing or vaccine information.
In Turkey it is still a legal requirement to wear face masks inside airports and hospitals.
