The 23rd of April is the National Sovereignty and Children’s Festival Day in Turkey celebrated with a focus on future our children.
The founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, declared April 23rd to the children of Turkey and all the world, emphasizing the fact that children are the future of the countries.
What can you expect this week? Plenty of free fun activities for children that’s for sure.
Tomorrow April 23rd at the cultural and arts house in Marmaris at 2 PM or 14:00 hrs children’s books fair, a radio house and musical commemoration.
On the 23rd of April the military ship TCG Gediz is open to visitors from 10 am to noon time and from 14:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs. Visitors will be carried by boats from Atatürk statue on the harbour to the military ship and return.
On April 24th and 25th from 10:30 to 16:30 fun activities for children at the Science and Education park in İçmeler
On April 26th and 27th from 08:30 to 20:00 free entry and activities at Buruncu Adventure park.
