The National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, established by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and dedicated to children of Turkey and the world is celebrated every year on the 23rd of April. Unfortunately, it will not be celebrated by the communities due to pandemic this year. Although most of the local businesses in Marmaris remain closed since last year, we are happy to say these businesses started to fly the flags for the 23rd of April. Government encourages individuals and businesses to fly the National flag during the National celebration days. The flag is an important National symbol which is dear to Turkish people’s hearts.
