Coronavirus: Marmaris observes curfew for Elderly 65+. On Friday the Governor of Marmaris Mr. Ertuğ Şevket Aksoy has signed another verdict to ease the curfew in Marmaris that was earlier imposed to try to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
Earlier the Governor of Marmaris Mr. Ertuğ Şevket Aksoy has announced the curfew and urged the citizens of 65 years old and over 65 to stay indoors from 20:00 (08:00PM) until 10:00 AM.
On Friday 10 July the Governor of Marmaris Mr. Ertuğ Şevket Aksoy has signed a new exception to ease curfew in Marmaris.
He ordered to lift the curfew for citizens of 65 or over who come on holiday to Marmaris including Turkish and foreign citizens. They will now be allowed to go out 24 hours without any curfew restrictions.
Rules are changing daily, subject to local officials and may be moderated to reflect a local situation at any time.
